Signal Routing and Mapping

The mapping diagram below depicts the closed-loop validation framework for the ADAS Cruise Control software application under development (to be deployed on the ADAS ECU). The system operates within a rapid control prototyping (RCP) environment, supporting execution on both Windows-based and NI Linux Real-Time (RT) targets.

Input/output of various subsystems of the plant model / SUT are mapped using orange lines.

NI VeriStand provides users with the possibility to define signal mapping in two ways.

  • Using a graphical user interface
  • Using .NET API
