Setting up the Compiler for the NI HIL Real-time Platform

Use VeriStand Model Generation Support to create VeriStand compatible models within the MathWorks Simulink® environment.

Note VeriStand also supports models from other modeling environments. For a current list of compiled models that you can use with VeriStand, refer to the following article on ni.com. Using Simulation Models with NI VeriStand.

From the modeling environment you can generate models for Windows Desktop or NI Linux Real-Time platforms. Once generated, VeriStand can import and deploy the model to a target.

Install VeriStand Model Generation Support in Simulink Before you can generate models for VeriStand, you need to install the support for Simulink following the instructions from the following link. VeriStand Model Generation Support for Simulink

NI VeriStand can be used to interact with models from a variety of modeling environments and programming languages. NI VeriStand can run compiled models created in any supported modeling environment. This link lists supported modeling environments that have been tested and verified to be able to create compiled models that can be imported in NI VeriStand.
