Interconnection - PXI to SLSC to DUT

To connect PXI modules to the SLSC layer, a combination of standard off-the-shelf cables and Rear Transition Interfaces (RTIs) are used. These connections preserve signal integrity, simplify system integration, and support reuse across projects.

In the example diagram below, you can see a typical Digital I/O signal path, with the PXI module, RTI, cabling, SLSC module, and DUT interface all highlighted. This modular and layered architecture allows teams to build highly capable test systems using largely commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components, reducing custom development time and improving maintainability.
