System Architecture Overview

The NI HIL platform is modular by design, allowing components to be combined in various configurations to meet specific application needs. While many configurations are possible, the architecture shown in the diagram below represents one of the most commonly used and well-supported approaches. It illustrates how the system components — PXI, SLSC, and the Device Under Test (DUT) — integrate to form a complete HIL solution.
