System Definition Files

The system definition file contains system configuration settings. You configure it in VeriStand System Explorer by adding, removing, and modifying options in the configuration tree, located on the left of the System Explorer window. The base system definition file configures the physical hardware that is unchanging in the test station, such as the chiller, the measurement I/O device, cycler, and the environmental chamber. Configuring this hardware creates the base system definition file.
