ECU Hardware IO Interface

HIL hardware IO interface is configured in NI VeriStand. Similarly to Restbus Simulation, decoupling plant simulation from its HW IO counterpart allows for faster reconfiguration of the HIL project whenever a change/update to the HIL HW IO interface is needed. Model framework does not need to be recompiled if model HW IO interface does not change. The xMOVE Configurator software developed by ALIARO allows parsing of STLA HW IO Signal List and routing of needed signals to the relevant pin in the HIL connector. The hardware configuration created in the xMOVE Configurator is automatically made available in the alias layer of NI VeriStand providing immediate access to all signals from HIL hardware resources.
