Installing a Custom Device

Procedure {#section_xvy_rwb_ptb .section .mmpdf:paraDef:title_sub}

  1. Locate the custom device file.

  2. Copy the custom device file to this folder.

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI VeriStand 202x\Custom Devices

  3. Restart the VeriStand project.

  4. Open the system definition file in System Explorer.

  • Right-click Custom Device in the System Explorer and verify you can add the custom device.
