Software Setup

Before installing software on the real-time target:

  • Determine which Linux real-time system image is compatible with your version of VeriStand using this article on ni.com.
  • Ensure the Host PC and PXI controller are connected to the same network via LAN cable.

Software setup on the real-time target involves the following parts.

  1. Install the real-time OS on the PXI target.
  2. Install the application software on the PXI target
  3. Configure the CAN port.
